This small handwoven vintage silk Tabriz rug features a pictorial forest scene with plants and animals, like monkeys, tigers, birds, and a hare. The border features even more flora and fauna, such as deer, and birds.  The colors are bright and vivid, and the silk is low cut and very soft. 

In excellent condition, signs of wear consistent with age. Low pile, with a very sturdy handle. Original silk fringe still intact.
