Product Details
+This rug is woven during the 19th century.
The rug is composed of a wide prayer format often seen in early Timuri rugs. The blue ground mihrab contains a tree of life motif. Some of the serrated leaves on the tree are woven with apricot and aubergine silk. The main border is composed of hexagons with hooked geometric shapes. Outside of the small touches of colorful silk, the color palette is subdued and limited to reds, blues, and browns.
In good condition. Oxidized browns throughout; Worn 2" on one edge
